Constructed of 6063T5 Thermal barrier aluminum extrusions, all Vanguard™ Series Windows are built for strength, stability, and durability. Interlocking Meeting Rails and special custodial locks add protection and security, while the 7/8" double insulated glass provides optimum energy efficiency.

The sashes of the 2000 Series Double Hung Window slide up and down effortlessly due to the high performance balances chosen and adjusted for each size window. This technology allows us to guarantee you that every window we produce will operate with ease even in the largest of sizes. Providing just the right amount of tension and allowing the sashes to stay properly positioned when left open, both

For very large Double Hung Windows we recommend the Ultra-Lift Balance System. This combination spiral and spring system is the best balance system available further assuring you years of trouble free service. The 2000 Double Hung Windows comes complete with casted tilt latches with built in security locks. These tilt latches allow you to easily tilt in your new windows allowing quick and easy access to the exterior glass surface. This is the safest and easiest way to clean the outside of your windows from the inside of your building.
